United Machine Works is a family-owned business owned by George and Carol Avouris. George Avouris, President of UMW has over 30 years of experience in machining. Carol Avouris, CFO of UMW, has over 30 years of accounting experience. Together they have built a business that is small enough to offer personal attention to every customer and large enough to provide an excellent range of services and capabilities. Founded in 1981, United Machine Works has been around for over 25 years, offering skill and expertise to a diverse group of customers.
UMW is a state of the art job shop. We can do most any size job from one piece to thousands. We have both manual and CNC capability. We offer Turning, Milling, Welding, Fabrication and Repair services.
